There’s always an awkward period between Christmas and the new year where we’re all in some sort of limbo, if we’re not battling a flu because its been freee-zing we find ourselves running around visiting family and friends, or finally, we’re doing none of that, but spending our time recovering from the winter festivities, recharging our batteries for the new year. Whatever it is taking up your time during the countdown to the new year, fashion and choosing what to wear should be the least of your worries - so don’t worry, Femmeluxe and I have you covered with these two cute looks, let us know what you think in the comments below!
So November is upon us, and the weather is ever changing. Choosing outfits for glam nights and frosty days can be super challenging. Not sure if you’re the same as me, but what I wear is so dependent on the weather – if it’s cold, I wanna look sexy and feel warm – comfort is everything. These two pieces from this collaboration are perfect at fulfilling this use, looking sexy and feeling warm and comfortable. This time round with Femmeluxe, I’m sporting the Brown belted one shoulder Jumpsuit – Evelyn and the Ivory Off The Shoulder Long Sleeve Top – Alena. I’ve chosen these two earth tone outfits to match the season – I hope you love them as much as I do! Autumn is that awkward fashion period we all have to face. One day its warm, the next it’s freezing cold. It’s not quite summer but still not yet winter, and it can be a nightmare when you’re trying to plan your outfits for occasions or even just your day to day.
Do you remember sometime back when I was sporting that super cute beige milkmaid dress from Femmeluxe? Well, checkout this C-U-T-E stone frill milkmaid open back top to match (dream eyes alert). The top is so subtle, not just in colour but in style too! I honestly adored dressing up in this top because of how delicate and feminine this looks. Again, there is so much to pair with this stunning top. I wore some cute grey mom jeans with them, but some cute leggings, ripped jeans you name it! Pair this top with some cute gold accessories, or gold accents to warm up this look in the spring/summer. It’s almost time for sunglasses weather too, so I think while the season approaches, top up this cute milkmaid top with a touch of summer by pairing it with gold accents. I have gold rimmed glasses to exuberant this! Looking for something sexy, put together and brave? This STUNNING Green reflective high neck cut out Co-ord is just the piece for you! I put this on and was instantly thrown back to the slime green trend that we all rocked last year. This definitely gave me those vibes, and now whenever I see this colour I’m instantly reminded of the summer, and more importantly the festivals, parties and fun adventures we used to have before this pandemic. Now lockdowns lifted - this is definitely a look I’ll be wearing when I’m out and about. I mean I had to share this look FIRST because how FLAWLESS is this outfit?? This cute mini skirt as part of this Co-ord is literally sweetest skirt ever. I get pure tennis skirt, ‘clueless’ vibes from that 80’s chick flick we all love. I decided to go even edgier and wear a pair of fish net tights and black boots. I popped my hair into some pig tails to go go better with the look, along with some squared shades to give this look some further dimension. I guess one of the features I absolutely love about this look is the cut out detail in the centre of the long sleeved green top! This top is already perfect that wearing it with the matching skirt really up’s your look as a whole, but you could also mix and match this outfit too. This lilac puff sleeve dress is the perfect spring summer entry look. Now the shops and restaurants are open again, this dress compliments so many outings. From day dates, to brunches, pair this dress with a stunning pair of portofino heels or even a lovely pair of sandals. The ruffle detail helps give the dress contours and shape in areas like your waistline and noticeably your silhouette too. Another great feature about this dress is of course the puffy sleeves. A traditional style with a modern twist, this look is still quite unique, so those that dare to wear it will definitely radiate the sophistication of a queen. You may be wondering what colours you could wear with this lilac puff sleeve mini dress, and luckily with it being so subtle, you can get away with so much more. I’d match this with white accessories and silver pieces. Moreover, some cute purple scrunchies, hair bands and mini clips could really touch up this look. Last but not least in this haul, this cute white knitted Bardot skirt Co-ord set serves super fancy vibes. Go super girly with this one. The long sleeve top making this pretty perfect to wear in this temperamental weather. A long knitwear coat or jacket to tie this top and skirt together would work a dream. Now let’s talk accessories. I’ve been envisioning styling this with a mini backpack. I styled my hair in bunches because I think this outfit looks super similar to a tennis style look. The pieces (top and bottom) are both knitwear, and the top is long sleeved. This style is the perfect rebellious look. Challenging both winter and summer in one. For a rainy-spring tone, a trench coat or a long and loose fitting leather jacket would look so chic.

CAN I GET AN AMEN? What I’m most excited about is being able to dress up again to go to places other than Sainsbury’s and to the park! This round, I’ve pulled out some pieces that are going to be perfect to wear during your transition from the living room to - well real life again!
So the first outfit I cannot WAIT to wear out on my spring ventures - which I know, will look amazing on you too, is this charcoal oversized front pocket pull over hoodie and cuffed joggers loungewear set in ‘Alexia’ from FemmeLuxe. I couldn’t believe how effortlessly good it looked on? Normally with loungewear sets/Co-ords I find I have to fiddle about with the outfit first before I’m satisfied with how it looks. Normally, this type of tweaking consists of either pulling up the hem to around my shin level so that the trousers bag slightly and don’t look as fitted, or I’ll fold the hems up to break up the outfit and better shape the look. This charcoal colour is killer, which is why I know this would suit pretty much anyone. It’s a neutral enough tone to wear with all this seasons colours; from the beiges and browns to even the pastels. I decided to style this one up with my beige snakeskin waist bag, which I wore across the shoulder. This look i feel would look good with a shoulder bag that with a short strap or any mini or waist bag. As for shoes, I’m rocking a pair of pumas, but a pair of Jordan 1’s would put the diamond in this look. The oversized feature is perfect because it keeps you extra warm, and extra cozy. Even though it appears to be bigger it doesn’t make you look bigger - not in a negative, frumpy way at least, it definitely shapes my waist, giving me curves I just don’t naturally have (yet), so try these out! Look stylish in minutes! Post lockdown looks to inspire your wardrobe! I have four styles to share with you this week. This time, we’re diverting from our usual cosy comfy loungewear and we’re stepping into some more OUTDOOR clothes. March is the first month of the spring, I’m excited by this because my spring/summer wardrobe is waaaay nicer than my winter wardrobe. We can finally start experimenting with our outfits again, and of course - Lockdown will finally be over soon!!! So let me sprinkle some outfit inspiration your way so you can start planning your post #lockdownlooks! The first stylish outfit I MUST without any doubt share with you is this black knitted ribbed shorts co-ord (Celeste) from Femmeluxe. From shorts to the top- the material is made from a comfortable cotton. For an outfit that puts a twist on traditional winter/spring looks - the shorts and top are surprisingly warm! I styled this outfit with a pair of striped white knee high socks and doc martens. I wanted to preserve the winter style. I can’t lie, what of my favourite things about these shorts is that they’re so THICK. With that being said, they make me look thick (hahaha). The material of both pieces are nice and stretchy, similar to most co-ords. To further dress this outfit up I would have worn a pair of fishnet tights, or swapped the boots for trainers to wear a more casual look. My second look from this haul is this stunning grey boxy cropped hoodie and cuffed jogger loungewear set (cailleigh)from Femmeluxe. If you remember previous blog posts I’ve worn a pink tracksuit set which I absolutely adore? Well this is another one of those! I normally avoid grey at all costs, my main reasoning for this is because I’m super active, and when I sweat I find it's more noticeable in grey. I will say though, whether it's because of the drawstring finish or material, that doesn’t seem to be happening! I love love love this draw string cropped hoodie. It’s wearable not only with the tracksuit by stylish enough to pair and wear with some of your other Femmeluxe faves! The fit is absolutely perfect, long sleeve which is perfect for the changing weather. Throw on some grey kicks to match and you’ll be the talk of the town. This outfit is perfect for lounging or for when you’re doing your essential shop! Lets talk about Lace <3 Lace will always have a special place in my heart. I’ve got this Black Floral Lace Sheer Mesh Cut Out Cupped Strappy Bodysuit from Femmeluxe. Lace is the epitome of sexy, whether its worn as underwear, an accessory or, as a top like the one I’m wearing from Femmeluxe. This stunning bodysuit radiates the biggest evening-wear vibes, with a stunning low-cut bust and floral detail along the lace, I’m obsessed because I think this is such an effortlessly sexy look. The low cut bust gives room for you to accessorise your chest, collar bone & neck areas. Stacking chains, necklaces and chokers do a great job at drawing attention to that area of your body - and if you didn’t know, your neckline is one of the ‘attractive’ points a woman can have, so I’m sure you’ll seduce people with this one. I’d ultimately style this top with a pair of joggers or high waist jeans. Heels or boots would definitely not go a miss! Amazingly this gorgeous black lace top is also a body suit, so you can expect the PERFECT fit. With no worries of ‘Nip- Slips’ or the top slipping at all. I am so HERE for this White Puff Long Sleeve Zip Up Top from Femmeluxe. This is the perfect top to wear to dinners, garden parties and even zoom calls! Further perfecting this top is the low neck, which as mentioned before is such an attractive, seductive area to style with accessories an accentuate with your favourite perfume.
White is a daring colour to wear if you know you’re quite clumsy. So pairing this with a stunning short cropped jacket, cardigan or gilet leaves room for this gorgeous outfit to do its thing, as well as keep you extra warm. The material is lovely and loose. Chiffon style material makes this versatile. Ready to wear during any season. A cute miniskirt, wet look leggings or high waist jeans would dress this outfit stunningly. I’m writing this article and I’m tucked away on my chaise lounge, wearing my check print blue joggers from Femmeluxe. These trousers put a modern spin on the traditional scottish tartan print that arises every winter. 2020 saw the rise of the ‘nudes’ the beiges and browns that we’ve been stylishly wearing with our minimal accessories, chunky shoes and trench coats. The joggers have three shades of blue, baby blue, navy blue and white making it perfect to wear with almost any trainer you have in your wardrobe that has these colours. Grey made an appearance last year too. We saw grey with many of our tracksuits and influencers splashed grey across their homes. Blue and grey wear so well together, so if you have any left over grey pieces match it with these bottoms! I wore a black tank top, because as mentioned in previous posts these sit so well with joggers, particularly if you wear a bodysuit it gives you the illusion of a smaller waist whilst the joggers fill out your lower half. I think these Femmeluxe joggers also do a great job at being a staple lounger piece, because the print resemble pyjama bottoms. |
