The July Wardrobe

​In every wardrobe, a girl should have themselves a bodycon dress, and it MUST be strapless. I didn’t realise how fitting these dresses can be for just everyday wear. I always thought that dresses, especially ones like this nude corset strapless bodycon dress from Femmeluxe had to be worn with heels and a posh blazer. I slung a pair of vans on with these and it looked awesome. It’s totally time to make use of our dresses, since the lockdown has stopped us going out – it’s time to bring the Friday night out looks back in! Who says stars should wait till the night to shine?

​Okay, before you start – yes you’ve seen me in pink tie dye before! But this oversized tee from Femmeluxe STOLE my heart! Pink is my favourite colour, so I had to bring this look together. I just think of American highschool 90’s teen and these tops just throw me right back to the icons I used to look up to growing up as a kid. Tie dye is fun, tie dye is freeing. Tap into your inner hippie/ 90’s self and grab yourself a taste of the tie dye!
 
 

​This babe top from Femmeluxe is such a pretty girl top. It is  also one of my fave slogan tee’s to date! It makes me feel super feminine, and the days that I’m feeling a more lowkey print, I whip this top out. I love to tie up this shirt, so it fits around my waist a bit better. I would potentially pair this with an all-black outfit for the ‘Instabaddie’ look! I wore the red skirt to show how you can experiment with your tees, and how I experimented with this one.

Corsets are un-arguably one of the sexiest pieces to dance their way back into our wardrobes, and un-surprisingly – we’ve welcomed them with open arms (Because that’s how you’re supposed to put them on of course.) I have a ‘tiny torso’, wearing a size 8-10, so I’m always living in clothes that are fitted to at least elude that I have curves, or I wear clothes which are super loose, which I style up so I’m not looking too complacent.
 
I selected this red corset from Femmeluxe to give me a nice lift, and because red, of course – is such an attractive colour! I styled the top with jeans to take the pressure off of the look; this way if you’re going to a dressy dinner, you can wear it and look lush (and not too over the top).
