Awaken your third eye & recognise your dreams.
I recently purchased a selenite wand from a local white witch shop, and I did so, not knowing what the crystals properties held – it was purely because I had felt drawn to it. I was curious, for whatever reason the crystal had chosen me.
Selenite is a popular stone for healing, balancing and cleansing. It is one of four varieties of the mineral "Gypsum". Selenite, is the ancient Greek word for 'Moon' after the moon goddess 'Selene'. Due to this it is often called the 'stone of the moon' or 'moonstone' even though it has no association with actual moonstone. It has a silky pearl/white appearance which changes in the light.
The selenite crystal is found close to the sea and within caves in Mexico and other parts of the world. This crystal is different to most, because unlike any other crystal it cleans itself. The best ways it does this is by using direct energy from the sun and the moon.
Selenite can also clean your other crystals, tarot decks, your aura and environment. I love to use this stone during meditation. Simply because it unblocks your chakras, offers them rebalance, and furthermore cleanses your third eye and crown chakra.
Your third eye chakra is associated with the Pineal gland and is based in between the eyebrows. Above this is the crown chakra. These two chakras hold close links to the brain and inner wisdom. When these are clear, one finds an improvement in memory, vision and intuition.
Keeping a selenite crystal or wand under your pillow or near you whilst you astral travel can help when you travel to far away places, and can offer you safety and guidance.
For people wanting to retain their dream information, the stone great at connecting with your third eye energy, as it improves memory. Meditate with your crystal before you retire for bed, or sleep with your crystal under your pillow. Keeping a note pad and pen near your bed, or writing down key elements from your dreams ( even in the notes on your phone) as soon as you wake up can also help you to remember your dreams too. This also makes it easier for you to interpret the symbols and signs your subconscious projects out to you.
I like to sit and hold the crystal while I'm watching tv and writing - to stimulate positivity, and to give me reassurance. It offers me a sense of calm, and collectiveness - and of all my crystals I've bonded mostly with my selenite.
It is important not to wash your crystals with water, as this will damage the crystal via erosion.
My Selenite Crystal is shaved to have a pointed end - hence why it is a called a 'wand'. Selenite wands are very common. You can wave them (pointing upright) to areas in which you wish to cleanse - like your bedroom, your car , (your work if you're like me) and yourself.
I bought this dream interpretation dictionary to help me better understand what my dreams mean. I keep a dream journal, and write down my dreams as soon as I wake up either on my phone notes or in my notebook. Your dreams are projections of your subconscious thoughts. When we learn to better understand the symbols and messages carried in them, we can enhance our waking lives. We can better understand how to handle situations and better understand our emotions.
Stones are used during meditation. Each colour corresponds to each different colour of your chakra, and thus can promote healing within these areas (along with removing any blockages). You can either place them around you during your meditation sessions, or along your body to represent each of your 7 chakras. You can also carry these around with you on your journeys, or keep them by your bedside, as each colour is said to inspire and attract different moods or circumstances - such as money in abundance, love, health and protection.
These stones absorb and emit different energies, so you can imagine that the more you use them, particularly when in a stressful situation, the more "clogged" they become with that stressful energy. To tackle this, they should be cleaned regularly. The easiest way to clean them is by sprinkling some sea salt over them, and washing them off with cold water. You can also leave them in the rain so that they are washed with 'natural' water. The best way, however to clean or 're-charge' your stones with fresh energy, is via the moon. Leave your stones in a windowsill or garden, (or anywhere that the moon light can reach) on a night of a full moon. Your stones are said to absorb the moon's powerful energy. Ready for re-use. You can find out when next a full moon may occur by downloading the 'Moon' app from the app store, or simply googling it.
You can purchase these stones and other beautiful varieties such as these from Etsy, or any spiritual shop. My favourite, is the white witch shop in waltham abbey (I'll leave a link below). I've also been recommended by my tarot reader of a stall called 'Atlantis' in crews hill, however, I've heard there are many places in camden market that sell these too. Although it is convenient to purchase stones online, I would highly recommend going to buy your stones in person. This is so you can get a look and feel of particular stones, and you're able to choose stones that you are specifically drawn to, rather than just choosing stones for the sake of it or because they're pretty. This way, you'll be choosing stones you actually need, rather than just stones you want. Stone and crystal prices can range from £0.50p to up to £30.00 depending on the type, size and rarity of them. Just make sure that wherever you purchase your stones, you wash them before you use them - as you don't know who has been handling them before you, so you don't want to absorb any of their energies!

Your Aura, is the energy field that surrounds you. It radiates subtle colours which, when identified - can be interpreted to mean different things. The colour of your Aura reflects your mood, and even the current state of your health. With practise and training you can learn to see and read peoples Aura's.
You absorb energy from the environment you're in and the people you surround yourself with. If you're constantly in a negative environment or surrounded by negative people, your aura will absorb this. When your Aura is constantly at a low frequency people often find themselves falling into depression and even illness.
This is why it is important to surround yourself with people, environments and situations that support our frequencies and make us feel good about ourselves. However, this isn't always easy to do, and sometimes we find ourselves waking up feeling negative. External situations such as break ups, divorce, deaths, receiving bad news and even arguments with friends and family can send us into negative mindsets.
We're all human, so it is impossible to not be effected by things that may be going on around us, but we can make sure that during times like this we keep our frequencies high, and we try to remain positive - for ourselves and for others around us. What we put into the universe is what receive back. So if you allow an argument to make you feel angry or sad for example, and thus for the rest of the week we treat this person according to how they have treated us - the cycle of mistreatment will continue and the negativity will spread. This negativity will follow us and break down our aura's until will decide that we want to be harmonious and positive.
'Love in a mist' Spray's contain a mixture of oils that are charged by crystals, which we spray all around us (In our Aura's) and our environment. With calming scents such as lavender and chamomile, the sprays are made to not only protect our Aura's but to also raise our frequencies. Aside from this the smell super good!
My favourite Spray is the space and Aura Cleanser (Left in photo) it smells amazing and gives you an immediate sense of enlightenment. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is embarking on a spiritual journey who wishes to protect themselves, their personal space.

On first assumption, we associate religion and Spirituality as one - however, the differences are vast. Hence, you can be a 'Spiritual Christian'. Spirituality is all about connection. Building a connection with yourself, to your 'Higher self' which is your eternal, intelligent being. (Otherwise known as your soul, divine self, true self) In order to make this connection, you follow a spiritual journey. Your spiritual journey is filled with both physical and emotional experience. It's what we take from these experiences and how we move forward through our lives that help us to discover who we really are - and our 'Higher self'.
